This is an update after a long time but it's got a lot of work that i've managed to get done.

I got a lot of ideas after the research i did. I looked at how the lines were written with a very interesting way of including a suspensive pause. I knew what a suspensive pause is but i didn'y know what it was called or if it even had a term. Only recently did i come to know about it. I had this trinity exam for speech and drama and the theory part of the syllabus had a lot to say about pauses. It explained kinds of pauses with examples. I only studied that last minute and thankfully there were no questions from theory.  This was the week before last week

Suspensive pause is when the meaning of a line continues to the next. So, how did i use it for songwriting?

Each stanzas of what im writing has a differant story behind it but somehow it has a link. At time i wrote it with no sense or connection. I thought - why not leave it to the imagination? If you actually think without sense, you could make sense out of the connection. This was the past week

I was trying to fall asleep twenty minutes ago but there was a song stuck in my head. I have not listened to that song in a long time. It's Runaway by AURORA. I never really payed attention to how the lyrics were so simple with lots of meaning. I didnt google the meaning but i could interpret so much with the lyrics and i came up with 2 lines at first. Those two lines turnes into a paragraph. Right now i have four stanzas in my rough draft. And i am really surprised how i got so much from a song i've barely listened to.

Only two of the four paragraphs were inspired by the song but it lead to a chain of thoughts that in turn gave me quite interesting phrases.
