I did not write the blogs for the first few weeks but here i am in the third week. So i did a lot of research. Raghavan uncle had suggested that i look into few of my favourite artists. I looked into the meaning, style and how both were combined and i tried to do the same with my songwriting. I chose Keane, The Lumineers, Christian Locke. All these artist have alternative rock as a common genre and i seem to really like this kind. I tried writing a few similar to few in their songs., just to get used to the style. This might not be too much for three weeks but it took a pretty long time to study the styles and applying it.
